Well, I hope you’re making a list of fun things to do in the summer.

Because it’s almost time!!

Summer is around the corner, and hopefully we’ll be able to go outside again soon so you need to GO ALL OUT once you get the chance!!!

Without further ado, here are 20 summer bucket list ideas to go all out in 2020!

1. Coast to Coast Road Trip

How much fun would it be to be able to see both LA and NYC with your best friends – it will make for an unforgettable memory. Just make sure you’ve got that gas money ready!

2. Try Zip Lining

Because we have all thought of doing it – this summer is going to be the year in doing so!

3. Take Cooking Classes

You should probably learn how to cook more than just ramen and boxed mac and cheese, right?!

4. Volunteer

Habitat for Humanity, Special Olympics, and even some summer-school tutoring for your neighbors’ kid – all in which are fantastic places to spend your summer.

5. Learn a New Language

Keep your brain moving by learning a language you’ve always wanted to!

6. Walk Across a Legendary Bridge

Golden Gate, Brooklyn – whatever coast you may be on, take some time to travel and take a stroll (and an Instagram pic or two) on an infamous bridge in the country.

7. Visit Famously Haunted Hotels

Every town has their special little haunted hotspots, right?

8. Drive Route 66

Life is a highway, so get your kicks on Route 66!

9. Take a Day with a Family Member

Designate a spa day with Mom, an outdoorsy day with Dad, or even just taking time to spend with your grandparents for a day. You won’t regret it.

10. Go Somewhere Artsy

A museum, a play, a ballet; show your appreciation for the arts world by being a spectator.

Or whatever your favorite sport may be, get your travel and sports bug taken care of by going to as many of their stadiums as possible!

Summer is the best time to go camping, especially if there is a lake near!

Relive the good ole days of childhood and go to a waterpark with your besties!

14. Host a BBQ

Everyone loves a BBQ! Make it a potluck and have friends and family bring over some of their best dishes.

15. Stay Up Late/Early

Have one of those incredible nights where you get to see the sunset and then the sunrise – memories in the making!

16. Go to a Street Fair

There are some amazing street fairs that are bound to happen this summer! Between food trucks and outdoors art shows, you’re in for a treat.

17. Wine Tasting

Grab the of-age girlfriends and take a Saturday to do a wine tasting (it’s okay if you can’t taste the hints of oak, too!)

18. Get a New Summer Wardrobe

This is your sign to go out shopping to revamp your summer style.

19. Spend Time with Family

Friends are the obvious choice, but make sure you take your siblings out on a picnic or you spend the day driving around with Grandpa.

There are plenty of ways to get a little bit of money without having to have a full-time job – freelance, offer to take photos during special events, or even dog walk!

 

Whether it’s something major like traveling and visiting cool placers or just having a spa day to treat yourself, make sure you make this summer one for the books!! Especially since we’ve been quarantined for the first few months out of the year!!
